Shinmade Co-organizes the 8th Shandong Provincial Technical Exchange Conference on High-Quality Development of Steel Structure Industry

Held in Huangdao District, Qingdao from July 31 to August 2, the 8th Shandong Provincial Technical Exchange Conference on High-Quality Development of Steel Structure Industry, together with the 4th Member Representative Meeting of the 2nd Council of Shandong Steel Structure Industry Association, came to a successful conclusion. Hosted by Shandong Steel Structure Industry Association, the event was co-organized by Shandong Shinmade Technology Materials Co., Ltd.

Closely aligned with national and Shandong provincial industrial arrangements, the conference centered on three core development pillars for the steel structure sector: intelligent upgrading, green and low-carbon transformation, and expanded international cooperation. It aimed to drive high-quality breakthroughs for Shandong’s steel structure industry in green manufacturing, intelligent construction and global market expansion, facilitate cross-industry supply chain collaboration, and accelerate the commercialization and on-site application of innovative technologies.

The conference featured a comprehensive agenda covering multiple sessions and thematic activities. The 4th Member Representative Meeting reviewed annual work reports, upcoming work plans and revised institutional regulations, alongside several special task force meetings. An exhibition and exchange session for new technologies, new materials, new equipment and new business models was arranged, showcasing cutting-edge advances in intelligent construction, eco-friendly building materials and bridge steel structures. A dedicated forum on the internationalization of the steel structure industry was also held, with in-depth discussions covering overseas market development, risk prevention and control for projects and capital, as well as alignment between domestic and international industry standards. During the conference, Cao Feng, Marketing Director of Shinmade, delivered a keynote speech titled Manufacturing Analysis of Coated & Plated Steel Sheets from an Engineering Application Perspective. The presentation elaborated on full-cycle technical details including substrate selection, coating production processes, common quality defects, and practical application scenarios across various engineering projects. Packed with professional, field-oriented insights, the report offered valuable references for wider adoption of coated and plated steel products throughout the industry.

At the exhibition booth, Shinmade displayed its flagship products including aluminum-zinc coated steel sheets, aluminum-zinc-magnesium coated steel sheets and prepainted galvanized steel coils. The booth featured multi-color sample panels, finished coil models and complete qualification certificates. For the first time, the company released an engineering project portfolio that intuitively demonstrated real-world performance of its coated steel materials in steel structure construction, drawing crowds of attendees and industry peers for on-site consultation and technical exchanges.
